Aircraft Interiors Expo 2016 to be strongest show yet

October 9, 2015: The team at Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) have been working hard on the 2016 show, and have just announced that 95% of exhibitor space has sold out in record time. More than 30 new exhibitors have signed up for the 2016 event, who will join regular exhibitors like Panasonic Avionics, B/E Aerospace, Airbus S.A.S., Zodiac, Boeing and others from the aircraft interiors industry, in Hamburg, Germany on April 5-7, 2016.

The show organizers, Reed Exhibitions, expect more than 1,000 airline buyers and 16,000 attendees to register in advance for the event, the main themes of which will be seating, IFE and connectivity.

The 2016 event will also see the Crystal Cabin Award winners announced. The awards, organized by the Crystal Cabin Awards Association, will be celebrating their 10th anniversary at the 2016 AIX, and will also be introducing a new ‘Cabin Concepts’ award category.

AIX 2016 will continue previous traditions by bringing together thought leaders and key decision makers of the industry for the Passenger Experience Conference, the curtain-raising event for the exhibition.

With the International Air Transport Association (IATA) reporting another jump in global passenger traffic last quarter, to 8.2% since June last year, AIX in 2016 will once again be the driving force behind the industry’s innovations.

Polly Magraw, exhibition manager, Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX), stated, “The forthcoming edition of AIX will be better than ever, with 95% of the space sold out. This is a true testament to how important the event has become for the industry. We are really excited to see the latest innovations for passenger comfort and on board technology, and we are proud to host the innovators and thought leaders of the sector. Together, we can shape the industry and set the agenda for the future.

“We are pleased to welcome back many valued exhibitors from previous years and open our doors to more than 30 new exhibitors from a wide range of aircraft interior sectors. We look forward to seeing their innovations that no doubt will continue to evolve and enhance the passenger experience.”
